Originally released in 2014, the White Wolf 62UL-e quickly gained popularity as a pioneer model tailored specifically for ester lines, setting new standards in ultra-light area fishing.
The newly released 62UL-E ( older mode: 62UL-e) builds upon that legacy with a completely redesigned blank developed under the direction of legendary angler Yukio Matsumoto. This updated version reflects his current vision for perfect rod performance — delivering more refined control, sharper response, and enhanced balance for the modern finesse game.
Measuring 6’2” and weighing only around 68g, the 62UL-E maintains a lightweight yet responsive profile. It excels with micro spoons and plugs in the 0.5–2.6g range, paired ideally with 1–3 lb ester lines.
